Although most of the UK is unenthusiastic, put me down for coronation trivia watch
A recent YouGov poll found that just 15% of the population are enthusiastic about the coronation, with more than 50% not interested. I am somewhere in between: I’m a republican at heart but this may be the only coronation I get to see in my lifetime, so it would be a shame to miss it. So I’ve put myself on “coronation watch” for the next few weeks to pick out all the trivia you don’t need to enjoy the occasion. It could be right up there with Prince Edward’s royal It’s a Knockout.
