Born in Leeds, Angela Griffin, 46, joined Coronation Street at 16. Her other TV work includes Cutting It, White Lines, Lewis, Help, Waterloo Road and ITV’s The Suspect, which is out later this year. She has co-hosted The One Show and presented live from the red carpet at the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards. Unwinds is her new Sunday programme on BBC Radio 2 from 10pm to midnight. She is married to the actor Jason Milligan, has two children and lives in London.
When were you happiest?
During the first week or two of lockdown. We didn’t know what was coming and it didn’t feel dangerous at that point; there was just a real sense of family and hunkering down.
