Nearly half of Trump voters would blame him for a recession, new poll says

Almost half of those who voted for Donald Trump would blame him if the US economy goes into a recession, according to a new poll that comes as worrying signs have emerged showing that to be a possibility.The poll, by Morning Consult, found that among those who said they voted for Mr Trump in 2016, 42 per cent would find him at least partially responsible if there is another recession.
