Dr. Obaid bin Saad Al-Abdali Al-Shareef has been a member of the Shoura Council since December 2016.
He attained his bachelor’s degree in business from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah in 1986, his MBA in advertising from Cardiff University in 1990, and his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Manchester in 1996.
He has been a member of the advisory board of the faculty of business at Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University in Al-Kharj since October 2018.
Al-Shareef served as adviser to the deputy minister of higher education from September 2011 to May 2015.
He was a professor at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals from October 1991 to September 2015.
The Shoura Council, represented by Al-Shareef, recently took part in a meeting in Russia on sustainable development, water and public health in Asia.
The meeting aims to support the implementation of the objectives of sustainable development, as well as drafting a resolution on water and public health, in Asia, and another to adopt providing measures to stimulate green financing.
