RIYADH: The seventh Colors of Saudi Arabia Forum, the largest event in the Kingdom for photography and short films on tourism, culture and heritage, will open on Dec. 12 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The annual forum aims to boost the role of photography in promoting tourism in the Kingdom.
A photography competition — the largest in the Arab world — offers SR740,000 in prize money. The categories are cultural heritage, Saudi Arabia from the skies, the Kingdom’s nature and landscape, KSA today, smartphones and the audience’s favorite.
The competition for tourism films, with prizes of SR550,000, includes seven categories: short films, cultural and heritage films, natural history films, Saudi movies today, tourism films, business films, and the audience award.
